Valley - I lived in the Swansea Valley for over 30 years. Early morning views (alternatively titled "scenes from a first floor window") were always spectacular, these 8 images being compiled over a 2 year period.
Impressions of Gwrhyd - The Gwrhyd is an upland area above the western slopes of the Upper Swansea Valley. The weather here can change almost without warning and the narrow road can become awash with surface water. Small isolated farms lie nestled in the undulations of the land and an old chapel sits alongside the only road to cross this landscape. The views from here are massive, the Brecons Beacons being the backdrop to the north.
My second publication, titled "From River To Sea" is now in print. It contains a series of landscapes and seascapes in the form of a journey that follows the River Tawe from the Brecon Beacons to the sea at Swansea, followed by a clockwise trip around Swansea Bay and the coast of Gower. My first publication - Works Volume #1 - has been completed. Contained within it's 69 pages is a collection of my work from 2015. It focuses primarily on images taken using intentional camera movement. These have been reproduced from the "photoimpressionism" galleries on this website.
